What's In a Writer's Mind

This one, at least.

What's floating around in my head? That's a dangerous question. My current WIP is Troll Shaman, Book 2 of the Troll Lands Saga. It stands at 60,000 words. (The link for Troll Hunter, Book 1, is in the comments.) I’m also thinking about Book 3.
The book I must finish before I die: The Book of Lycaon. Werewolves, mental health, redemption, police procedural.
Other stories floating around: Jack Wars. It’s an alt-history steampunk YA-ish novel. In the 19th century, humanity is trapped east of the Mississippi River by the Jackalope Empire, a regime of brutal, wendigo-like beasts that rules the Plains from the Mississippi to the Rocosas (Rockies).
When the creatures develop dreadnought airships and poison gas to annihilate the surviving humans, Ulysses Grant, President of the Federation of Atlantic States, launches a desperate multi-front war.
Twin sisters Pearl and Cassia Lewis, elite horse scouts and granddaughters of the martyred Meriwether Lewis, are sent deep into the hostile plains to find the jackalopes' hydrogen facilities and airship fleet. Gunboat captain Samuel Clemens assists them.
